I read an absolutely wild amount of books last year
A graphic from the reading tracker StoryGraph, showing a summary of what I read in 2024: 108 books, among them Hex by Jenni Fagan, Doppelganger by Naomi Klein, Blue Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson, Heracles Bow by Madeline Miller. My most read genres are Fantasy and Science Fiction, most read authors are Becky Chambers, Walter Moers and Douglas Adams. A graphic with covers of all the books I read in 2024.

Tested 3D printing some lattice structures (just Graphene for now), and it works really quite well! Now I want to print another large Graphene sheet to visualise twisted Bilayer Graphene and create models of some lattices myself.

And back to Hamburg, reading The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. Will take the afternoon to analyse the results of some compute jobs from the weekend, easing into the week a bit.

Hello #sciky, I spent today with my parents baking a variety of cookies and used the break to set up my profile here and follow some people. Tomorrow: back to the institute to continue working on my master's project.
