I feel like here in Europe, the sense of betrayal must be hitting the hardest in London and Warsaw. Without a doubt, Britain and Poland were America's most loyal and dedicated allies in Europe.
Our government has taken the position of little brother since the second world war to the Yanks and it's lead us to being tied at the hip in conflicts like Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq and the moment we need help, it's always been a case of "eh maybe if you pay us enough".

Ukrainian cities will be even less safe now that U.S air defence missiles will soon be gone. During WW2 Britain evacuated urban populations into the countryside. I am sure we can provide similar services to Ukrainian women and children.
