With the huge #NJ pollution lawsuit in the news I'm reminded of the great book Toms River: A Story of Science & Salvation by @danfagin.bsky.social. I grew up under the shadow/ fear of Ceiba Geigy, near Lakehurst Lake, always careful about water in our eyes & mouths, bc water ='ed cancer. It's nuts.
