The US Administration is not engaged in a 'crackdown', which means strict punishment of people who break laws.

It is engaged in a vast and universal program of immigrant exclusion, regardless of legal status, skill, and economic contribution.
A new rule ending the automatic extension of work authorization could lead employers to remove workers from payroll. Attorney Jon Wasden: “The next step is massive delays in adjudication times. This will force people out of work as they wait for an EAD.” @mclem.org

No-Empathy was at it again on Thursday

With the Epstein distractions, the story missed the coverage it was due

The AP didn’t run it until Yesterday (Friday)

It may have been posted, but blocking a State Rep from attending an event where he represents constituents, is worthy of resurfacing

The Senate Intelligence Committee

Led by Chairman Marco Rubio

Found that Russia was working to get Trump elected in 2016

And that there were numerous links between Russia and Donald Trump’s campaign

As Democrats on the committee correctly noted at the time

“This is what collusion looks like”

Seriously, holy hell.

Virtually every mainstream outlet has flubbed this limited hangout.
Why is Trump asking for grand jury testimony?

1. Because he knows it’s unlikely to be released and then he can blame the judge

2. Because that testimony is restricted to charges against Epstein and Maxwell and is unlikely to name clients

3. Because it generates delay and confusion.

Important to know that these cuts kick in right after the 2026 midterms. That’s how you know they know it’s bad.

Fluoridation: modern miracle

There are few more essential small public inputs with better health outcomes for the masses
So Canadian city, Calgary, in the Redneck state of Alberta, has just voted to bring back fluoridation in its water supply because of worsening child dental health. There are people here I wish would read this article. (It’s free to read)

Counterpoint: fuck off, fascists
👀 The Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy has just published an article by A3P Sr. Counsel Josh Hammer, Timon Cline, & Yoram Hazony. It calls on SCOTUS to reverse the 1947 Everson case, which held that the Establishment Clause applies to the states & requires a separation of church & state. 1/
