I spent the week holding my 6 y.o with flu A. Her fevers spiked to over 104. Fever reducing meds offered little relief. Every day I reminded myself that she's vaccinated & started Tamiflu within 24 hours of symptoms. I knew she would be okay. I also knew this flu season claimed the lives of so many.

It was so cold yesterday, I spent most of the day on the couch under blankets reading…finished this beautiful book by Cynthia Leitich Smith. Can’t wait to recommend it to our students! Shout out to First Book Marketplace for offering affordable, diverse books to schools! #amreading #SchoolLibrarian
