Was shopping for winter handlebar covers for my bicycle when I came across this gem. Just tried it in 34 degree, slightly windy snowy weather and it works like a charm. I have a few of those mailers floating around and didn't know what to do with them so this was perfect

Tuck this away for future reference: the AP did a live feed of the Macy's parade on YouTube. I didn't watch from the beginning, but I enjoyed the parts I watched not being interrupted with ads and the feel of watching it like I was there. My 3 year old liked it too. Just putting it out there.

I cannot overstate how much more fun and cool it is to use a bike as a primary mode of transport vs a car, even when it's cold or rainy. Haven't tried in snow yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Best decision I've made in quite some time. 100% recommend if you're able to do so.

Seeing a few of these signs for a R state rep around the area (blue pocket of Berks County, PA). It's rarely accompanied by any other signs, so I've taken to calling it the Coward's Trump Lawn Sign. Lot of Harris/Walz + Casey + Cepepda-Freytiz + Schwank combos, however.

Pro tip for new dog owners: teach them to put a blanket on themselves. Otherwise, you will spend the next decade or 2 being poked/scratched/nuzzled/stared at/barked at whenever your dog wants to lie under one, regardless of the hour.
