Some form of that shit show was all but guaranteed to occur, based on all the online chatter for months prior. Jan 6 happens to be my birthday, so I popped on C-SPAN and just waited to see what form the chaos was going to take. Honestly much worse than I thought would be possible.

Yeah I switched my job from a similar commute to yours to a WFH gig a few years back. Even if I had to ride like 5-10 miles to work now, that would start my day off so much better than being trapped in traffic.
Just rode with my toddler around the area to look at decorations, and it fucking ruled.
