That’s not what happened but, yes, in fact stopping Trump was enough and if someone didn’t vote to stop Trump they’re a piece of shit and not someone you want to try to court.

If someone is unwilling to vote to keep Trump out of power bc they didn’t get exactly what they want on an issue that person is not a reliable voter and not worth courting. You can’t alienate people who already hate you and demand control as a condition of spending 15 minutes every 2 years voting.
