He/They. Another member of the Xodus, living near London.

Wants to believe as few false things and as many true things as possible.

Life is complicated. Let's start by trying to be kind to each other.
The complication is that she wasn't wrong about Tavistock.

I've seen a lot of people (trans included) saying that it was badly managed, badly run, etc.

The problem is what happened off the back of what she uncovered wasn't to fix it, but to close it.

This is my biggest release ever but it's important to me to represent as many people as possible, especially considering how kind Dropout were to let me make them! I know that a lot of the more niche flags will never break even but I'm so happy to share them anyway.

We've been here the whole time.

That rather depends on what they do/say to those senators...

Starmer can't be trusted.

Polanski hasn't said he won't work with Labour.

He just won't do deals with someone who has repeatedly broken promises.

That's not immature. That's basic sense.

Mamdani and @bradlander.bsky.social had a vibe that absolutely changed the race, too. A Muslim and a Jew, best buddies on the campaign trail, showing us the kind of we-actually-CAN-get-along vibes that NYC represents at its BEST. blacksky.community/profile/did:...
These two dudes are good - and I love that they actually seem to like each other. Rank 'em first and second. You pick the order.

There's no evidence to support that view.

Putin wants to rebuild the USSR.

In order to do that he needs to retake the former USSR states.

NATO expansion is a handy excuse. If he didn't have that, he'd find something else.

There's a reason most of the former states were desperate to join!

Ahh. Fair.

Personally I'll still vote for individuals in Labour if they're doing the right thing but I can completely see why people may have decided not to even do that.

Out of interest, what's he done to lose your vote?

I don't think it changes anything.

Full reverse. Hold course. Would have been the best move with hindsight.

But that guarantees a collision so at the time trying to dodge makes sense.

(Straight on you lose the first compartment only and then the rest holds.)

It aligns with other analyses I've seen on the waterproof compartments, although I haven't come across a similar discussion of the brittle failure of the steel before.

Instead of breaking up, the workers galvanized. Tens of thousands of workers from different ethnic background marched through Lawrence, holding flags and singing in the streets. Their determination eventually won out and the moment is remembered as the "Bread and Roses Strike."

So proportional to income the effective increase diminishes once you pass 50k.

So I concede that it is progressive within that band.

However once you consider the overall tax burden it places it disproportionately on people within that band and less so on higher earners.

Hence also regressive.
