Instead of Secret Santa, we're doing something similar but for colleagues' kids this year. I've been paired with a chap who always speaks over me. I'm getting his kids glitter and glue. I hope they love it.

Well done to all those diehard Chelsea supporters who travelled out to Baku.

I'm sure you're disappointed with the result, as most/all of us are, but hopefully a quality trip has made up for it.

The 'Riyadh Comedy Festival' reminds me of the story of Freddie Starr performing in the Middle East, under instruction not to swear or refer directly to Prince Hussein.

He came on and said 'Which one of you fuckers is Prince Hussein?' and the curtain immediately came down.

CMAT was superb in Kingston last night - a real force of nature. She was solo, not with her band, but was still utterly captivating. If you get the chance to see her live, do - she is going to be a major star.

Off to see CMAT tonight in Kingston. Incredibly lucky to get a ticket and genuinely excited, which is very rare for me.

The album is brilliant, she is going to be massive. Can't wait.

Be fascinating to see how Digital Day goes at SB. DigiDelight or #DigiShambles?
My guess is most STH and members using their own tickets will be OK, though they may well have to queue longer to get in.
It might be those trying to use transferred tickets that have more issues.

Does anyone else find it crazy that you can walk into a bookshop and be charged £9.99 for a paperback novel that took the author a year to complete, but £17.99 for a completely blank notebook?
