Thank goodness someone had the balls to say it. Trump is a lame duck. There is zero political investment gained in voting to protect him or other pedophiles.
Massie: "I would remind my Republican colleagues who are decided how to vote, Donald Trump can protect you in red districts right now by giving you an endorsement, but by 2030, he's not gonna be the president and you will have voted to protect pedophiles if you don't vote to release those files."

MTG is the smartest of the rats on the Trump ship, evidenced by her loud and public break-up. She knows that anyone tied to him will never hold office again, and she is playing the long game.

Credit where credit is due I guess.

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

Awkward questions in my house: "Mom, we celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday because of you, but why don't we celebrate the Navy birthday for Dad?"

Well, it's because Mommy joined a cult at 18 and Daddy was smart enough to join a normal branch of the military.

It is time we gave them something to be afraid of. Revolution is painful and uncomfortable, but it worth it. We need to reach outside our comfort zone to raise up politicians that actually care.
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

I don't even care if she's a bad choice. Kaine is obviously a worse one. She has 3 years to show that she has a spine.
@abigailspanberger.com will be ending her term as governor in 2030 and she can’t succeed herself. She’s only 46 and can start stockpiling money to run for president after she primaries Tim and curb stomps whatever freak the GOP runs against her.
This is not just a betrayal, it’s a political suicide.

Ignore me calling @markwarner.bsky.social twice to emphasize how pissed I am that he would vote to end the shutdown with no ACA subsidies. It is despicable and shameful. At least when I was in Texas, I expected my Senators to suck. I had some hope that Virginia would actually care.

PRIMARY TIME!

I will personally primary @kaine.senate.gov if he does not hold the line to protect ACA subsidies. It is absolutely ridiculous to hold the line for 30+ days and then cave with zero gains. Grow a backbone. The GOP has owned this shutdown. LET THEM. All you have to do is keep fighting for ACA.

Only SOME military controllers have FAA credentials. Out of those, a minuscule amount would be able to transfer to a nearby civilian air facility. Even if we pretend that can happen, it would take, AT BEST, weeks before they were certified to work at that new facility.
Sean Duffy: "The secretary of war texted me yesterday and said, 'I might have some air traffic controllers. If you could use them, I'm gonna offer them to you.' I don't know that I can, Jake, because they're not certified in the airspaces that we need them. But if I can, I'm going to use them."

The pro-life party is begging SCOTUS to let them starve people. Absolutely shameful.
#BREAKING: The Trump administration is asking #SCOTUS for an immediate “administrative” stay of a Rhode Island district judge’s order that is otherwise requiring it to resume the distribution of SNAP benefits from other funding sources no later than the end of today.

The Senate is currently voting on a resolution to bar Trump from taking military action against Venezuela.

Meanwhile, Carrier Strike Group Twelve, led by the USS Ford, is sailing through the Atlantic on its way to the Caribbean and South America.

The Ford should be there by next week.

Those most ironic thing about this for Duffy is because staffing is so poor and traffic high, it is unlikely that the trainees at any facility are actually getting trained. A certified ATC would have to be with them for every shift, and we don't have extra bodies. Taking even longer to train them.
We cannot just close small airports and relocate controllers to major towers or radar facilities. It takes 1+ year to train controllers for specific locations.
