I reject the notion that I or anyone else should have to hand craft everything from first principles like i'm living off the grid in fucking 1688 because a bunch of clowns don't understand how anything actually works in the real world
“Sewing your own clothes to avoid tariffs” seems like a good idea until you realize it’s very expensive, takes a ton of time, and just about every component — from fabric and thread to sewing machines — are made abroad. I do think this is a great time to learn how to mend clothes, though!

My 84yo auntie recently had shoulder surgery about 2 weeks ago. Today she started PT & is in pain. She refused anything stronger then Advil & likes to make the rest of us suffer her bad mood. #wow

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.
