🔴 Nigel Farage’s Reform is more reliant on super-rich backers than any major party in modern British political history

75% of *all* Reform donations *ever* have come from just three rich men

Is this what democracy looks like?

Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

It is the budget on Wednesday afternoon.

Absolutely no one can tell you with ANY certainty any specific measures which will be in it.

But we do know 3 things the government ARE aiming for:

1) making the NHS fit for the future

2) reducing our national debt

3) improving the cost of living

The political refusal to admit how badly they screwed us over with Brexit keeps us trapped in inevitable, snowballing failure. We can’t let them dodge this reality forever.

Johnson spent years charming, bluffing, and backstabbing his way to the top.

Positioning himself as a latter-day Churchill when the moment came and leadership was desperately needed, he showed us who he was...

It's January 31st, 2020, and Nathan Gill is celebrating our imminent departure from the EU.... and that terrible idea of a European Army.

Hmm, now I wonder who else would have been delighted about that.

Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

The right wing elite are ruthless in protecting their own and getting what they want.
They wanted Johnson. (And what a disaster that was for us).
Now they want Farage. (Would be an off the scale catastrophe for the country).
Time we woke up to the betrayal.

Can we put the 'confiscating jewellery' thong to bed now?

It is something brought up by the media in a question. It is likely an attempt by someone with a long memory to create a story based on a comment about jewellery from a government minister 26 years ago.

The stupidity of Farage’s latest ‘plan’ is staggering.
Claiming they’d save British taxpayers money by ripping up international commitments and starting a trade war with Europe is the puerile foot-stamp of a party that uses prejudice as policy. Ruinous nonsense.
