Je veux me rendre compte moi-même.

The deadline for Evolang 2026, the International Conference on the Evolution of Language, has been extended to November 3rd.
Do consider submitting, it's my favourite conference and will take place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the age-old "city of the seven hills"! #language #linguistics

New paper led by Dara Etemady: Statistical reporting inconsistencies in experimental linguistics.

Almost half (49%) of all articles contained at least one inconsistent p-value. 12% contained an inconsistency that may have affected the statistical conclusion."

Switching to codeberg.org for most recent projects was the solution for me. It's free, they don't use data for AI training, and since they don't (yet) offer integration with Zenodo etc. , I learned to embrace the moment when I upload a Zip-folder to Zenodo to publish some supplement :-)
