The myth is circulating again that it was more radical otg activists and assimilationist gays ("boots and suits") teaming up that was responsible for queer communities' gains late '60s on.

The history doesn't back this up. What actually happened is more revealing. 🧵

Let's start with Stonewall...

Me, earlier this year: It's nearly a decade since the "Trump and Putin kissing" memes began, now it's "Trump and Musk FUCKING!!". Please stop making these extremely homophobic, not to mention tired, unfunny, hackneyed "jokes".

At our last rental we were there long enough to have paid in rent more than what the landlord bought the property for. Then she section 21ed us. The property sold for several times what it had been bought for meaning she profited enormously twice.
Not fair to brand all landlords as 'parasites'. I'm a fair landlord (keep my rents low and my properties in good condition) in an area that is short on affordable properties. I've no quarrel with bad landlords being outed but this type of generalisation is unfair.

Transphobes can dress up their shit any way they want, but what it comes down to is that they think it's weird. It's not nice to say, but it's true. They're running around getting judicial reviews for no greater reason than they Don't Get It.
