Remember folks: if you have any small amount of artistic talent, any sex appeal, or can make your friends laugh, the richest man on earth is crying screaming throwing up because he can’t be you.

The same thing I would do if I start making more money: use it to buy more time to pursue my genuine interests of writing, storytelling, RPG creation, & music.

I could pursue them away from the pressure of monetisation, which corrupts the fundamental motivations behind art & creativity.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

I kinda think the way people use ChatGPT is sort of aspirational because it seems to emulate the way rich people have sycophants lying to them all the time until they lose touch with reality and also their entire minds

NASA sent people to walk on the moon in 1969. 55 years later SpaceX are apparently just building really expensive fireworks.
SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft exploded on its test stand on Wednesday, sending a large fireball into the sky. The company had cleared personnel from around the site. wapo.st/4kUmz6G

I went digging through some of my old Patreon posts and decided to repost a few things that I liked. This is a short article about self-improvement, and I find it just as relevant today. Thinking about it like this has helped me take some important steps.

I got around to typing up one of the recipes people keep asking me for: protein brownies. (Sorry, not the luxury chocolate cake this time. I'll get to it eventually!)

People have asked me for the recipe for my protein brownies several times, so here it is. It's a modified version of a recipe I found in the book Energibars by Eric Tornblad (available in Swedish ...

We've hired a new social media manager!

Ok, so we never had one. And the new one is a cheese goblin we found living in our pantry because we can't afford anyone else. But it's a step up!

Unrelated: has anyone seen my gruyère?

I do get tired of hearing these.

At the same time I try to be more forgiving than I used to be. At least if I know that it's coming from someone who is TRYING to say the right thing but doesn't know how/what.

I think that part of the problem is just another NT/AT communication issue. 1/
Things not to say when someone tells you they’re autistic:

- “Everyone’s a bit autistic”
- “Officially diagnosed or self-diagnosed?”
- “But you seem so normal”
- “You must be just like [name of another autistic person] then”
- “Seems to be a trend these days”
- “You don’t look #autistic

The ability to feel love without the poisonous need to get something in return is sadly something that I have only begun to learn more recently in my life. It's not something that modern society teaches very well.

I have been a dick as a result of autism. I didn't realise it because I couldn't read social cues, but the fact that I was unaware of it doesn't magically undo the harm I caused.

Being called out was the first (painful) step for me to become a better person, and I am grateful to those who did it.
I don’t like Elon Musk.
I also don’t like people who use his autism to attack him.

There are nice autistic people, there are not very nice autistic people.

Have a go at him by all means but don’t bring autism into it.

I really don’t like the guy his neurotype is irrelevant. He is still a dick
