is all the scenes where the four kids are all talking over one another

the stupidest thing in intellij is "management" of data sources nukes the existing query consoles'

(i dont know/care if there's a hidden setting somewhere to override this behavior)

maybe i'm going to start keeping a 'scratch*.sql' in my global gitignore just for this

i've switched to thunderbird

a. their onboarding experience has improved A LOT
b. some default out-of-the-box behaviors are still finicky

b.1. archive moves emails to local folders (simple enough to fix)
b.2. address book isn't auto-populated based on incoming emails (idk how to fix this yet)
so long.

looking for decent mail clients on macos

outlook support needed.
offline support optional.

(pls don't say thunderbird, doesn't work with my org's tenant for some reason)

this is true; we assume those observability entries with Duration == 0 don't count because nothing can take < 1ms, right? right???
Ask any software developer. They’ll tell you the same thing. There is no amount of time smaller than 1 millisecond.

the same goes for kubernetes nodes as well

caveat: doesn't work well if you _just_ have deployments with node anti-affinity (e.g., 2 nodes, default rollout strategy likely to stuck if you don't enable scaling)
Did you know that because of that little bit of host/node overhead per VPS, it's more efficient to make big cloud servers instead of many smaller service-separated ones?

Of course go ahead and separate servers however you like, (optimizing for price first, right?), but just fyi for fun
