Remember folks, if you're protesting and someone starts goading you to get violent, they're a cop.

If you get arrested or detained in any way, ask, "Am I free to go?" If they say yes, walk away. No? Shut the fuck up. Don't say anything else without a lawyer.

Good trouble, friends. Get busy.

Ugh this should be so easy, it’s not even like there’s a “good for the economy but morally evil” party and a “bad for the economy but morally good” party, there’s one party that’s like “minorities belong in cages AND we want you to be poorer” and they win elections somehow

Still trying to figure out the best use of BlueSky, but I’m going to drop one of my favorite research pieces I did during lockdown. There’s a lot of myths around WWII canteens, but it was fun to research the history of those myths and bring out my high school science skills again!

Back-to-back IT marathon today. No offense to the 1990 version, but hot damn, the new version is such a better viewing experience. “They’re gazebos, they’re bullshit” gets me every time

*extremely* telling that the NYT frames a family leaving a state because their trans son literally could not get the medical care he needed as a "politically motivated move" and an abstract "issue" rather than one connected to their child's intrinsic humanity www.nytimes.com/2023/10/07/u...

I think the two things that Twitter still has that bluesky and Threads are missing still is a “trending” bar and good usability for tablets. I honestly think that those two features implemented on either alternative would probably kill Twitter for good
