West Coast numbers are coming in, and estimates have now surpassed 5 million. People are still pouring into the streets—nearly 2% of the American population is rising up. America, we are so proud of you. You did it.

Absolutely proud of you all! HUG! So far, 3.1 million protesters counted today — that’s nearly 1% of the U.S. population! Photos are flooding social media everywhere. Still waiting on more numbers to come in.

I couldn't help but stop to take another picture. Winnemucca Mountain was surprisingly picturesque from the truck stop parking lot.

Good morning and happy weekend! The predawn light was just beginning to delineate the mountain range at the rest area west of Winnemucca.

My trip across US 50 continues. I stopped near Fairview Peak and took these photos.

It's called the loneliest highway in America. US 50 through western Utah to Fernley NV is largely desolate and empty, with a few small towns to break up the tedium. The views are breathtaking though. This is the westbound view near Eskdale Utah

The Google AI results at the top of searches are so pointless. We have a resource (the internet!) that knows everything, and instead of going to the source, it's like you asked your stupid cousin who is trying to recall the information from a podcast he heard last week.
