So not a scoragami
If Vance is needed to break a 50–50 tie in the Senate over Pete Hegseth's nomination (as seems likely), it will only be the second time in history this has happened with a cabinet nominee. The first time? 2017, when Mike Pence cast the deciding vote for Betsy DeVos.
Pence Becomes First VP To Break Senate Tie Over Cabinet Nomination
Mike Pence is not the first vice president to break any Senate tie, though; the right gives vice presidents a rare chance to be in the limelight and cast a consequential vote that makes a difference.

This album is rad. Terrific way to hear all the songs anew
Since there is plenty of enthusiasm about the music of Bob Dylan at the moment, I've updated my Bandcamp page to offer free shipping for anyone who wants to pick up a vinyl or CD copy of my album of Dylan songs, Blonde on the Tracks.

probably the most surprising thing I learned this year is that instead of “cut” taylor sheridan ends every take with “thank you for saying my cowboy words”

I agreed to play the Mayor of Gotham once, but only 'cause I read it in the script as "Got Ham". I was excited to run a city with a shitload of ham around. I sent the director an idea about the Riddler stealing our ham, so we have to call the city Hadham for a while. Never heard back.

“Before collaborating with 30 artists of various disciplines for her new album, Ganavya made a practice of kneeling to wash the feet of her guests. They’d often break down at the gesture.” Lovely profile of one of the most interesting artists out there today.
The Singer Whose Work Feels Like Prayer
On her new LP, “Daughter of a Temple,” Ganavya is the central vocalist, composer and community builder for 30 artists who constitute a who’s who in jazz and experimental music.
