You have no idea how over I am with the animation cynicism I'm seeing online regarding films and whatnot. It's gone beyond frustrating for me as I think there's a difference between being skeptical of a new film to being fully dismissive of it. Seriously, just wait till it's out.

Regardless of what happens to "Elio" during the rest of its theatrical run, I do think history will be kind to the movie and its story will mean a lot to the people who grow up with it.

There is no phrase that I want to see die a brutal death more than "CalArts Style". It's 2025 people, stop using that damn phrase. Besides, I like that the character designs we're getting pull influence from international animation like anime and Aardman. It's cool.

One of the cooler moments of working on a film is that they live stream the scoring sessions for us. Seeing the teenage engineering singing robots performing their #Elio parts was a coolest moment among cooler moments.
