This is horrible, and it’s only going to worsen as the economy crumbles under the Trump regime.

Find mutual aid organizations and food distribution sites in your local area. If you have the means, see how you can support them with your time, money, or other resources.

We’re all in this together.
Families are already hanging by a thread, but the sad truth is it’s about to get a lot worse when SNAP benefits don’t go out in November.

It’s time to find our local food banks and help out with donations and volunteer hours if you are able.

Trump has believed, since his first term, that the U.S. treasury is his personal piggy bank (as he did with his personal charity). The entire purpose of his presidency is to funnel as much of it as he can to himself and his family
Trump: "It's awfully strange to make a decision where I'm paying myself. But I was damaged very greatly and any money I would get I would give to charity."

Exit SecDef. Hegseth was always manifestly unqualified for the job of defense secretary. Set aside the serial infidelity, the accusations of alcohol abuse (which he has denied), and the questions about extremist views: Even without these, he had nowhere near the résumé to run the armed forces.
Pete Hegseth Is Running Out of Excuses
A set of scandals and turnover at the Pentagon undermine the already flimsy case for his leadership.

So happy that people who come after me are not going to have to struggle like I did.

Do I rather envy them for having it easier? Sure. But I wouldn't wish the struggle I had when my kids were little on anyone.

For any Republicans out there-- don't you see what's happening? Your elected officials, drunk with power, are quietly and quickly getting filthy rich. And in exchange, they're cutting your Medicaid, cutting your education funding, cutting SNAP benefits, cutting medical research.

Deportation flights never stopped. The Biden Admin deported about 1 million people per year. Republicans never talked about that because it didn’t fit their narrative, and Democrats never talked about it because they feared it would anger part of their base. So ignorance ruled.
