Just had a lovely coffee date with a friend who happens to be a cis woman. It got me thinking about the cis friends who ask me how to be an ally (subtext: activism).
Activism is great (and needed to stave off our g-cide), but we also really need the friendships, the love, the normalcy, the hugs.

An update on my reporting from March: RAINN has taken a step further and banned resources for trans people and immigrants.
Many had defended RAINN, saying they would still serve trans people. Clearly that was wrong.
NYTimes did the recent reporting, but did not cite me.
