The various AI voices that keep calling me pretending to be real people really give themselves away by their awkward, implied punctuation and pauses.
Not to mention how clear everything sounds. Also hilarious hearing various "loan reps" say "hi! um..." before they start talking.

A bit bummed that I waited until the last week before an event to do 80% of the work for it, but at least it's still coming together with a *little* time to spare.
Way better than the 99% it would have been a few years ago—thankfully I have spent two years coming up with proven processes.

I have had this thought so many times that it's a bit of a relief to see someone else mentioning it.
i love these ferns because they look like someone used the clone tool in photoshop. it's kind of uncomfortable to look at them in real life 🌱

I finished Season 2 of Yellowjackets and while I love the show for its campy approach, I have a feeling any person with wilderness survival skills *at all* has got to be extremely frustrated and yelling at the tv (if they even made it that far.)

My favorite part of customer service chats in 2025 is the part where they immediately say it's something I did and that they don't cover that sort of thing, but by the end of the chat it turns out that it was their fault afterall.

Re-reading this part makes me consider there may be some benefit in going back through and tagging my daily notes with topics to see what I was focused on. This may make clearer how long my interest cycles are and what actually disrupts them. I may set aside some self-care time for that.
For the short term, has it helped with my ADHD? Yes and no. It keeps me aware of my cycles of interest, but also gives me a familiar place to explore those things. One week I'll be logging genealogy research, and the next week I'll be transcribing family recipes, or working on event plans.
