The 80s was such a lame decade for nearly every aspect of pop culture, especially television, and the stranglehold it still has on society all these years later is so goddamn annoying like if we had to have an era be milk for nostalgia to no end could we at least have picked an actually good one

And it also feels like the generation that was raised on 3DCGI films are now seeking more age appropriate films in the same medium.
And that’s probably why Pixar is floundering and struggling to capture new audiences, on top of their refusal to adapt their stories beyond their age range.
