One of my first acid trips was on Sussex Uni campus in 1976. We wondered the Downs all night like spacemen. Got back to my flat at 6am and lay on my 2 year old daughter's bed and watched her sleep, in awe. She suddenly puked all over me. Took me a few minutes to figure out it wasn't ectoplasm.

Nitrous oxide becomes a class C drug in UK on November 8th. The maximum prison sentence will be 14 years for supply and 2 years for possession, though many legal uses of N2O will continue. About 500 people a year are expected to be jailed for possession.

New Scientist's review concluded there is reasonable evidence of the effectiveness of cannabis for only 6 of 20 conditions: strong evidence of benefit for epilepsy, MS and TSC, and moderate evidence of benefit for nausea, migraine and opioid use disorder.
