Please, not everything needs to bounce and spin and transition into even more effects! Sprinkle in the seasoning, don’t douse us in it.

Sometimes (well, lots of times), I feel like I could do more in life, but right now I’m relaxing in a hammock alongside my pretty wife in the backyard of a house we own, watching my dog goof around in this cool, New Mexican weather …then I remember I should take the time to enjoy what I have done.

Waiting at a CVS for vaccinations, and they are swamped. Lots of people waiting. A father has picked up a joke book and is now reading them to his son. I love to see Dad Jokes in training, super cute.

Speaking of hamburgers in the dark, I thought about those dining experiences that are in the complete dark while I enjoyed eating a burger in bed tonight. I’ve never been to one but thinking about how pricey they are and how I got to do it for free in my jammies really elevated the moment.

I’m still awake after my 6-hour, post-work, post-hamburger-in-the-dark coma which I woke up from at 2:30am. The thought crossed my mind that I should go ahead and start my day but when I got up to use the restroom a few moments ago, my achy body said, “lol, rest up while you can, silly”

Why are snowflakes spending taxpayers’ monies to get rid of colors? Many (if not all?) of these rainbow roads are privately funded.

People that vote for these clowns because they think Republicans are conservative with taxes are sorely mistaken. Make it make sense that this is a good use of money.
A new directive from Texas Gov. Abbott could soon impact decorative roadway markings, including El Paso’s rainbow crosswalk in Downtown’s Pride Square.

I put my lactaid in a Pez dispenser, thanks someone on Insta's idea. It makes it fun and I am always excited to take the lactaid so I remember to take it.

Work completely exhausted me today and my thighs and glutes are sore from, of all things, weeding the yard yesterday.

I went to bed immediately after work, and my kind wife made a burger and brought it to me. I ate it alone, in the dark, and it was so amazing, I fell asleep at 8 for 6 solid hours.

SSRI withdrawal update: It’s been about a month since I stopped taking 25mg Sertraline in an unwise manner. Last weekend I had to bail on a weekend trip because I felt like garbage but this weekend, my wife and I took a trip, and it was great! Only one major garbage moment and a few hot flashes.

Today has been dedicated to sleeping and making sure the dog gets fed and loved on. I am pretty sure I’d be in bed all day if I didn’t have a dog.

SSRI withdrawal update: It’s been 2 weeks since I stopped taking 25mg Sertraline basically cold turkey.

Hot flashes aren’t happening as much, but brain zaps plague me hourly. I feel like a lagging video game character. However, I took my restless dog on a walk for half an hour, so that’s progress!

Very inconvenient for me, a recent transplant, that a local “influencer” that posts about local events is also an AI-loving, democrat-hating, pot stirrer because I’d love to stay informed without having to sift through garbage.

Like, fine, hate on democrats if you want, but can you stop using AI?

Reminds me of hostile architecture, denying basic human kindness to people they see as “lesser.”

And for what reason??? “Solutions” like these cause more safety issues than they prevent.
Texas' bathroom bill is officially signed, it goes into effect Dec. 4. It applies to:

Public buildings (courthouses, state agencies, etc.)
Texas public universities
Family violence shelters
State prisons

It does not apply to:
Private businesses

It could apply to:
Sports stadiums
People in public buildings across Texas will soon only be allowed to use restrooms and locker rooms matching the sex listed on their birth certificate.

SSRI withdrawal update: It’s been a solid week since these symptoms popped up, no thanks to getting a vaccination and also PMS. (sorry to my nervous and immune systems for making you work overtime!)

Fewer hot flashes, but lightheadedness, fogginess, brain zaps, and nausea still happening off and on

Re: my last thread, maybe it’s not just covid and hive mind control, but also it’s the dangerous particles we inhale and ingest that makes us more irrational and selfish, too! So many possible explanations!

Weirds me out to see someone I went to high school with that was non-conforming in a lot of ways go from they/them pronouns and lighthearted FB posts to aggressively heteronormative, Christian opinions and memes.

Too much to scroll through since she posts so much but I think covid is the culprit.

Been feeling levels of rough to extra rough after my covid vax on Sunday. I’ve never felt this badly after one then remembered I stopped taking my SSRI last week so I looked up “SSRI withdrawal symptoms” and

Day after getting the Moderna Spikevax vaccination felt like a hangover. Super duper sleepy, thick brain fog, body felt heavy. Tylenol and ice pack helped my arm but I had no choice but to nap in spurts throughout the day because doing anything else was a tall order.

Better than covid though!
