Why would the dems fold now?? My guess, the airlines are up their bums. The people were ready to help those on snap, we were ready to cancel travel, people were ready to fight! But the old guard dems are owned by the oligarchs and so they cave. Pathetic

So many elected officials in Texas saying there are no local flood warning devices because tax payers won't go for it. How about spending some of that 27+ BILLION rainy day fund from our tax dollars? Oh that's right, the cruelty seems to be the point with y'all.

This whole thread is so well stated. If we lose our kindness, our empathy, our humanity- the bad guys win. It doesn't mean we don't get off the high road and fight but we should do it as our best selves.

This whole thread is so well stated. If we lose our kindness, our empathy, our humanity- the bad guys win. It doesn't mean we don't get off the high road and fight but we should do it as our best selves.
Hate politics? Do you avoid discussion or participation in politics? Then the state of the world is at least partly your own damn fault. Politics is not a bad thing in and of itself. It is how we humans work together to make decisions and run our communities. Avoid it and the baddies win.
