Louise Weard's "Castration Movie Anthology I: Traps" is a fascinating watch, a Dogme 95 look at trans experiences filmed on a Hi8 camcorder where old home videos can be changed to make new ones. Very empathetic, very funny, very punk rock - a post-epic about gender.

What’s funny is that I knew this in high school, but just couldn’t put it into practice. Getting to college and just letting things go put me in a much better position. I relaxed. I started feeling a lot more like myself.
It is one of those counterintuitive and yet 100% true rules of life that not caring what other ppl think of you almost immediately makes a whole lot of people think better of you

STRANGE DAYS is streaming on Criterion Channel as part of their 3 By Bigalow collection. This movie is ALMOST NEVER available and slaps so hard it'll hurt your mama. A must see for any Sci-fi/Cyberpunk/Neo-Noir fan. Such a great fucking movie.
My laptop’s away for a few weeks, so I figured I’d fire up my 2006 Gateway to see if I could get any juice out of it. Still works! A little slow, but who could complain about this old gal?
