Hi Bluesky, had to share that I’m excited to have found a direction for my Substack: open.substack.com/pub/theglimm... It’s early days, but I would love to connect with anyone who uses the platform, and warmly welcome new readers. A blend of new nature writing and eco poetry, this feels good!

Bernie is spot on with this. Most people have no idea what these data centers impact. It is HUGE and negative all around (with exception to the oligarchs wallets)
All of you who needed to “research” at election time, THIS is what you need to research right now.
Bernie Sanders: "We need to be thinking seriously about a moratorium on data centers. You gotta slow this process down. It's not good enough for the oligarchs to tell us 'you adapt.' Are they gonna guarantee healthcare to all people? What are they gonna do when there are no jobs? Make housing free?"

To better understand how falling satellites affect the air we breathe, scientists tracked a reentering spacecraft by plane. The goal was to study the metal particles released during reentry, something most of us might not think about, but could impact our atmosphere.

It's quite telling that there's so much debate about 'what is a woman' and almost none about what is a man.

We wouldn't need to debate 'what is a woman' if the space allowed for women in society wasn't so arbitrarily and narrowly prescribed in the first place.
