The rains are starting to arrive so what better way to celebrate than with a #throwback to this swimming lesson enjoyed by Muridjo, Mzinga, Nyambeni, and Pardamat. Because when the rains finally arrive in Kenya, there's only one appropriate response: dive in headfirst and worry about dignity later.

Ironic that I stopped work two years ago to focus on my health and I've had the worst health issues occur in the past 12 months!

Suffering badly with temperature in bed tonight. I can feel sweat on my body and I am overheated but my right side is freezing, especially my arm. Painfully cold. Cooling perspiration is making it worse. A result of my stroke earlier this year which left me with permanent nerve problems.

Trying to make a list of tastes and flavours I don't enjoy. Seaweed is on there but mainly because as a veggie it makes me feel uncomfortable as though I am eating fish. Irrational really.

Learned far too much detail about Lemur sexual habits from my daughter, including the fact that some Lemurs vaginal openings are closed for most of the time except a short fertile window of just a few hours each year.
