So it turns out that the #911onABC, the BuckTommy side of things, sent 500 toys to ABC to be donated to children in need. So that means 500 kids are going to get toys in time for the holidays.

Understand that celebrities are humans, some will be good people, some will be shit people. Some will have views you agree with, and others you won't. Do not put your self-worth and values onto a celebrity because they will only end up disappointing you.

This is your daily reminder to go touch grass. Go see a movie, go spend time with IRL friends, go to a museum, or a garden, visit a farmers market, whatever it might be. Get off social media, get off the internet and have a wonderful day, even if its just a walk around the neighborhood.

Dear children in fandom. If someone ships something you don't. That's ok. The thing to do is to move on, and if you can't, go touch some grass. You don't get to attack people in the comments of an official post, calling them names, because they ship something you don't. GROW UP!

Ship and let ship is a marvelous concept. I'd like to welcome you all to it. If a ship is not your thing, that's ok. There are tons of ship I still do not understand even after years. You know what I do about it? I don't engage with it, and I enjoy my day.

I think everyone, but especially #911abc fans needs to remember: actors are human beings. They are not perfect. But they do not deserve your ire just because they're not doing what you want.

People really need to chill out. It's just a tv show. Whether your ship goes canon or not doesn't mean you can't ship, and love it and hope for the best. But the actors, the writers, the showrunners, the producers, execs do not owe you anything.

People are tagging me here saying “let’s make the Jewish VOICES thing happen” but unless you are an editor at either Marvel or DC with the power to green light a project like that BASED ON sales projections/ROI for the company/ies, there’s nothing any of can do. Until then, it will never happen.
I love the DC Pride anthology, but I’d still like to a) write a DC or Marvel Chanukah story for a holiday anthology or b) help work with a Marvel or DC editor to create a Jewish “VOICES” style anthology with Jewish creators on Jewish characters
I love all these specials as well as the holiday specials. DC knows how to make a great anthology.

Overall #CaptainAmericaBravenewworld is a decent flick. Definitely can tell where the problems were. Potential for something interesting down the line. Ruth could have been replaced by any generic Black Widow and it wouldn't have made a differencev so then what was the point?

Wanda Maximoff is a great example of Roma erasure in film, tv, etc. I will not however claim that Wanda is also Jewish erasure. She has no Jewish identity. She has Jewish heritage that is conditional only on Magneto being her dad.
