RIP Alice Wong 😔
I am gutted to learn of @sfdirewolf.bsky.social (Alice Wong’s) passing. She was always a warm friend, a wonderful spirit, and someone who fostered my own growth. She helped me see that, as a #disabled person with chronic illness, I matter—I am whole. I’ll be posting some of Alice’s work. ❤️ forever

Exactly. Because why are the streets so small?
They touted Raleigh and Durham as the next great places to move in NC after Charlotte but they forgot to update the infrastructure to keep up. These roads are NOT built for the amount of people that are here now.

My neighbor seems to be (poorly) rapping to himself in the bathroom mirror. There is no music. And he seems to not know the lyrics. I’m mostly amused bc it sounds so bad and I can only hear him if I’m in my bathroom. They have got to stop making apartment walls so thin though.

Just finished the best man: unfinished business book 1. Those characters piss me off so bad. Terrible decision making all around, but they were all true to form. So it was really just good storytelling. Entertaining read. I saw the cliffhangers coming. But I need books 2 & 3 right now, though.

I really need to stay out of comment sections (I won’t but I need to). Watching a YT video. She was laid off in February, still unemployed. It’s a finance channel so she’s being transparent her finances. One of the comments was “have you ever thought about prioritizing a husband?”

i realized this was a thing when i was watching someone on youtube and she would have to wait for her sheets to be done washing and drying before putting them back on the bed. i was confused as to why she didn't just get another sheet set instead of waiting until i realized she only had one set.
Did y'all know its folks out here with only one set of sheets for their beds?! 😱
My mentor was interviewing new cleaners who were shocked she wanted her bedding changed every time (~3x a week). They all said that most folks they clean for only have a single set! GASP!
