First you have Disney and Universal suing Midjourney for copyright infringement and now Warner Bros is also suing the company as well. This is literally that JoJo meme where Abbacchio’s gang beats up a random guy. But instead it’s Mickey, Woody Woodpecker, and Bugs Bunny beating the AI company up.

I just realized that since the creator of Bubsy, Micheal Berlyn, has passed away back in 2023 I bet that there’s going to be a tribute to him somewhere in Bubsy 4D or have a “In memory of Micheal Berlyn” in the credits.

Japan Post announced that beginning this Wed, Aug 27, they will temporarily refuse all commercial packages destined to the United States. This falls in line with similar moves by the UK, Australia, etc. Only packages marked as "gift" with a value under $100 will be accepted.

I found out that there was a Japanese version of the first Bubsy game called “やまねこバブジーの大冒険 (Mountain Cat Bubsy’s Great Adventure)” that was released only on the Super Famicom. The second and third games were never released in Japan and I think the other two rebooted games weren’t either. (1/2)

In short, the live action remake was in development hell for over 20 years and now they’ve finally given up on it. Fun Fact: When the remake was being developed, there were also plans of putting Akira in Space Jam 2, but that was also scrapped from the final film entirely.

If there was ever a new Donkey Kong tv series with these new redesigned characters I could see Bill Fagerbakke voice Donkey Kong if it costs too much to use Seth Rogan again and Tom Kenny as Diddy Kong. It would be SpongeBob but with apes.
