I’ve been avoiding drawing hands entirely since returning to drawing… so today it’s time to draw hands. 😑Not even sure how much I can use my own hands as reference with things like a bone spur that looks like a ganglion cyst & slightly short fingers.

As I slowly get back into drawing, I’ve found it so incredibly strange how no matter how much I may struggle on other things, I seemingly can’t draw an outright bad butt. Maximum effort or lazy doodle, it comes out right every time. I should up the difficulty with angles/poses…

I mostly understand nonviolence, but I don’t understand why people with/want kids aren’t all violent revolutionaries at this point. The planet is dying & we’re all being poisoned, how is that not triggering parental protective instincts?! I don’t want kids, what’s y’all’s excuse?

The work requirement for SNAP (MI previously had a waiver so this is the 1st year I've encountered it) feels especially cruel in that it will be forcing me out of the house in December. Not because of the cold, but because the GODDAMN ENDLESS CHRISTMAS MUSIC EVERYWHERE! That's a form of torture!

Catching up on anime, gotta say Fujimoto Tatsuki’s 17-26 episode “woke up as a girl syndrome” is probably my favorite of their many bangers so far. The older brother is almost unbelievably woke for 2000, but that makes him all the better a character.

I like the concept of Gehenna, basically hell but everyone goes there for up to but no longer than a year with weekends off, because it gives opportunity for the extremely backhanded "well-wishing" that someone awful be spared it... and their soul instead face oblivion.

Was just trying Silksong's path of pain area and it's hard in a bad way. Many of the jumps don't feel like YOU messed up when you miss them. They feel like "ha ha this corner's collision is just a tiny bit too big, fuck you." Or just "Nope! you take a few extra frames to wall-cling after floating!"

Got Covid booster & flu shot today. Got home afterwards & started playing SilkSong, then I take a break & BOOM! Cognitively & physically sluggish & half my body is sore. Clearly I should have kept gaming, then I’d still feel fine.
