It’s the yellow tactical glasses that really does it for me.

Oh, was there another important vote? Is there a list of Dems who voted with Republicans? Bet I can guess who’s on it!
The six Dems who voted with the GOP in the House.

I'm just going to be mad at Merrick Garland forever until I die, huh?

Which also means, making these people face consequences is not just a moral imperative or, like, "the law" -- it is the only thing that breaks their power over others.
Humble them. Shame them. Humiliate them. Show that consequences are real for them too. The power instantly melts like cotton candy.

I had the exact same reaction. But also, the same was true of the Hillary emails, the Sony leaks, various other rich peoples' emails when they get shared in lawsuits.
They just... talk like this?
It's obviously not the ✨MAIN THING✨ going on in the emails, but why is it every time a bunch of emails of super-powerful rich people gets leaked they always read like the communications of barely-literate children (I know the answer to this question)?
Lest there be any insinuation that Dems spared their own. It would be tough for Kathy Ruemmler—Obama’s WH Counsel from 2011 to mid-2014—to come off looking worse in these docs the committee Dems released. oversightdemocrats.house.gov/sites/evo-su...

No dig on daytime TV hosts. I like TV! And it is on during the day, and someone has to host it.
But Hegseth has confused the beauty regimen that is an important part of *that* job as being the important part of *all jobs*, because he doesn't know how to do other things.

Yeah, I'm not holding out for some leftist champion of the proletariat to be made Senate Dem leader, I'd settle for "can articulate a strategy," "holds the caucus together on issues the base cares about" and "isn't increasingly doddering and incoherent on TV"

Lol, is it an LG?
I got the same alert.
I don't want my TV's "AI" to "listen to me" or "predict" what I want to watch. I don't even want to update the "End User License Agreement." The only agreement between me and my TV is "I push the Power button and it agrees to turn on."

Which also is why these guys *need* to face consequences. Not just because of, like, “justice” but because it busts the myth that they’re untouchable, which is where their power comes from.

I’ve said for years that a big part of trump’s appeal is he’s an unrepentant asshole who has never faced a consequence, which sells the promise that you too can be an asshole and never face a consequence.
Which, I’d never really thought of it in those terms, but absolutely is a thing w Nixon too.
