Hey @bsky.app @support.bsky.team love you folks but I have a request. I'm one of the iPad users on here but sometimes I try to use it to post and it sucks. Perhaps a tweak of the layout engine is in order. Thanks.

Couldn’t agree more: «Shipping prototypes to production is possible but generally a bad idea»
Us developers have learned the hard way that:

1. Prototyping is more like 10% of the actual work - even though the business folks thinks we're 90% done

2. Shipping prototypes to production is possible but generally a bad idea

Vibe coding is prototyping. Others will learn - soon

@dropthepuck.bsky.social - actually a funny nick.

In 93/94 I was a referee and a NHL player (Brian Tutt) played for a 🇳🇴 team before the Olympics due to the NHL-lockout.

He was such a nice guy, and the only thing he said at each drop was “F..ck you, drop the puck”

Good times! 😀😂😆

When you thought #PowerAutomate licensing couldn't get any trickier, MS introduced a brand new way to turn standard flows to premium flows: include them in a process map.

I can’t tell you the amount of contempt real coders have for Musk’s stolen valor at pretending to be technical. His years (decades?) of pseudo-code revealing that he doesn’t actually know how software works are so offensive to genuinely talented developers that they’ve always hated him.
elon could fake being a business and technology genius forever and everyone would have thrown cash at him endlessly, but no, he had to pretend to be a poster and gamer tok and America was like hold up
Has to be rough for Elon to know that his popularity is inversely correlated with his public exposure. People thought this guy was a genius before he started posting in earnest

Working on the talks for Microsoft BUILD and I proposed that the sessions for Microsoft Quantum be both rejected and accepted at the same time. No one gets my humor.

Neat trick to dump a runtime object to an XML file from the Visual Studio debugger:

Afterwards it's easy to load in Excel.
