Tried to get my real ID. I had my license, my SS card and my birth certificate.

I was not allowed to get my real ID because my birth name is different than my married name. Now I have to go dig up a marriage certificate. You know who wouldn’t have to do this? A man.

Never change your last name.

This…. All of it is alarming.
IMPORTANT: Before the fascist attack on Senator Alex Padilla, Kristi Noem said that her gestapo in California were staying to "liberate the city socialist and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country."

Don't let that slide by.

Some days require fiction by the pool. Thanks H for the new book and the reminder that I can put down my “learning” books every now and then. Happy Saturday, y’all.

As I walked my dog this morning - just he and I and the road side wildflowers and weeds, I thought to myself…”I sure would like to be a poet but this having to make money sure is interfering.” ☀️

The stock portfolios of more than two dozen members of Congress outperformed the market in 2024.

This isn't due to luck or skill.

Lawmakers can use privileged information to trade stocks while they’re supposed to be working for you.

Make no mistake, it’s legalized corruption.

🔥 Most of us were never trained to recognize the tactics that manipulative or deceitful people — or systems — use to gain power. Instead, we were trained to internalize their behavior, take it personally, and assume we were the problem.

The amount of money the government has spent running these Kristi Noem ads in Texas on my local and cable channels ~ could pay for all those jobs Elon slashed. Tired of seeing her and the state media making threats.

What you WANT matters. Even if you aren't able to have it at the moment. Want is not lack. Your want is not a problem. Their discomfort with it is theirs, not yours. FTS. You are allowed to want. You are allowed to desire. Take that back.

Yes. That's my baby girl.

Pretty regularly, when I'm on video - I get comments about how I "look liberal." Ok. First, I am liberal. Second, Your intended criticism can never make me hate myself enough to spend time or money trying to contort myself into looking like some dystopian plastic doll you deem desirable.
