Unlike your cabbage patch doll, I didn't come with adoption papers. No adoptee does. In fact, all we're given is nothing but a new birth certificate that falsely lists our adopters as our "parents of live birth". You think we're given some sort of adoption file when we're 18?

I do not believe you are qualified to foster or adopt if your religious beliefs lead you to deny a persons right to live as who they are. Thats child abuse, not care. #fostercare #whitehouse #erasure #childabuse #religion #evangelical #lgbtqia #adoption #adoptee #adopteerights

Adopters can be every bit as or even more abusive than our families of origin. Paying for a child is no more a guarantee of good treatment than believing spending more money on a luxury car makes you a better driver. #adoption #adopted #adoptee #safety #childabuse #family #care

On Veterans Day, à relative sent my spouse à text reminding him that lots of free meals were available for veterans. Yep. That’s what they served for; free pancakes. The spouse definitely didn’t think it was so that children could go hungry.
