My current top 50 science fiction reads I'd recommend in a heartbeat! I can't wait to see how this list expands and alters as I continue my reading journey over the course of my life.Which ones have you read?

Which books am I missing that I should read next?
A rare fantasy story of mine is now live at 100-Foot Crow!

I'm starting to see AI images being used more in youtube videos and I can't help but wonder what the youtubers (or even their video editors) believe that these images bring to the video? Comedic value because of how uncanny the images look? Or is it just laziness and filler?

It's cartoonist day, it's AAPI Heritage Month, it's still life under fascism, here's comics
1/5 - I wrote this short comic immediately after experiencing a hate crime inside the Wing Luke Museum (Seattle's Asian American history museum). I didn't sit down to make the comic until over a year after it happened, but now it's done. I have exorcized the feelings.

I'll admit it: my vampire novella feels so personal and strange I'm afraid to finish it, because I'm afraid of the inevitable rejections. I know not everyone will get it, but my hopes is that the right readers will one day find it and feel seen

I honestly thought I was going to finish this month without finishing a single book. It only takes one good book to get out of a reading slump and for me it was Renan Bernardo's latest book that jumpstarted my interest in reading again! That said, I did most of my reading in the last week of April.

My favorite comments to get on fanfic is "I now ship this after reading this fic." My second favorite comments: "this matches the style and tone of the original very well."

This march I did something I told myself I'd never do and reread "City of Ember" a book that meant so much to me as a kid I was afraid it wouldn't hold up as an adult. Fortunately it did and I finally read the sequel!
