Oh wow I saw one of these for the first time the other night while looking for owls! I was mesmerized by their flight patterns, like tiny airplanes!

I didn't realize until the author's note that Sun-Daughters, Sea-Daughters is a little mermaid retelling lol! I think calling it a retelling undermines the creativity in this space opera novella. I'm always a sucker for humans so evolved to the point that they feel alien!

I was delighted to finally finish The City of Ember series, though extremely surprised how relevant it feels to the current political climate.

I highly recommend any of the titles on this list lol!
