Still baffling that the evangelicals act like Trump is the second coming of Christ, in spite of all the ways he demonstrates being the direct opposite

SHARE WIDELY.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.

Repubs in the Senate & House, just know that once you cross the rubicon of politicizing aid to victims of natural disasters, that is a road that you don’t want to go down. Especially since your states seem to have a lot more of them, & you tend to lose your majorities quickly.

I always get excited when I find one of these rare Kangols to remix. It’s an early 2000s design by artist Henry Obasi and I’m constantly looking for them. We share the same inspiration - early 80s NY hip-hop. I just finished a big batch of Kangols - about to photograph and list them in my Etsy store

A teeny weeny 2% tax on Britain’s super rich would raise £24 billion.

Think of all the good we could with a sum like that - and it would only ever so slightly make the tax system more fair - plenty of room for improvement after that.

i’m kind of amazed at how this is just the crudest, most obvious n****rbaiting you can imagine. “the people you don’t like, yeah, they are responsible for everything bad.” and it works!

Starting the day with a couple of classics. Both UK pressings on 4th & Broadway. Both massively influential in different ways, and each reflective of the times they were released. Which is your favorite?

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.

Los Angeles received just 0.16 inches of rain since May 2024, the second-driest period on record.

Wildfires are now engulfing the city in January.

But some politicians still claim the climate crisis is a "hoax" as they do the bidding of Big Oil.

What planet are they living on?
