I’ve been trying to get a worthy shot of Osprey who have returned to the upper Patapsco from South America. Despite my repeated sorties, they would not let me get within 200 yards without flushing. Today, I changed it up with a big sit, and wait.

One interesting thing to think about is that there has never been a way to access all the huge troves of data across the US government as a whole. Besides the computing challenge, it’s also been questionable given our basic values to create what would essentially be a Department of Information.
