Did y'all know that the shut down affects aircraft maintenance? The FAA has blocked access to the FARs for advance directives and maintenance bulletins. Inspections cannot be completed.

How in the world would I, someone waiting to be seen in the ER notice that "illegal immigrants" are also there? I notice other people, sure, but I can't see their immigration status.

it's so funny to see America's health insurance companies be like "look. If there's one thing we love it's denying you care. but we ran the numbers - and we cannot BELIEVE we're saying this - and it's cheaper for us to just pay for the vaccines than deal with you going to the ER."
Regardless of the disgraceful nonsense we will likely hear from this administration in the coming days on vaccine “recommendations,” Americas healthcare insurers issued a joint statement tonight saying coverage for Covid and flu shots will remain unchanged from prior years.

This MAHA tracker is kinda dumb: www.hhs.gov/maha/index.h... It's tracking just a few initiatives. Most won't have as big an effect on human health as reducing pollution to ensure clean air, clean water, and a safe food supply.

I thought America was broke and we had to cut back on "frivolous" spending, like for social services. We definitely DON"T need a $200 million addition to the White House.
