I see a lot of very common behaviors being labeled “trauma response” (in the absence of any identified trauma experience). I once had a boss who was in labor for ~20 hours & less than 8 hours later she was sending emails & responding to Teams threads. *That* is a trauma response.

I don’t understand the drive of the MAGA admin/project 2025 to stop sending fed funding to states. W/o fed money the states have no reason (except military protection & interstate travel) to send taxes or listen to the fed government. How does decentralization help the MAGA strong man agenda?

Made the mistake of reading NYT’s “America in Focus” interview with 12 former Dem voters who voted for Trump in 2024. Among the many embarrassing comments made, I was stunned to see how cruel they are towards immigrants & how self serving they are. Side note: all but 1 interviewee are white.
