So I saw there was a 100% off freebie on UAudio the other day and grabbed it.
Though I noticed it's Windows and Mac only, so now I've a compressor program I can't use by default.
Time to see if I can do something with it and if not, I got it for later!

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Providing your voice for A.I. undermines everyone in the industry. It is a net negative, that will only make it harder for you and everyone else down the line.

In more positive news, my job has been going well and I have an interview for a different temp job on the 25th this month.
On top of that, playing ProSeka has been a lot of fun and I've been getting a lot better since I started in May. I can even clear a few Master songs now!

Been thinking about this since last night. Months have gone by but I'll always carry memories of this experience. So I want to thank the people who understood why we held out, who spoke up in support, and who responded with grace and kindness when one of the heaviest blows of my career landed.

Okay, the first conundrum I face with learning Linux: I watch tutorials for Wine or this and that, but all of them skip one or more steps in the process and I'm like "WHERE THE HELL DO I SET THIS UP?!?!?!"
That stuff drives me nuts.
