Lost my Vampire Savior match and finished 24th tho i DID finish 6th in Advanced Variable Geo 2…….tho i was one game away from making Top 4 and getting my 3rd medal :/

There’s a whole prototype build of Puzzle Bobble called Bubble Buster that seems intended for western markets. Some “marketing genius” believed the game’s best chance of success was to… remove the Bubble Bobble elements. Yes, really. “Bust a Move” is likely a remnant of this before reversing course

I swear I'm not gonna Tetrispost every day, but today's new TGM4 PV shows off the practice mode, which not only lets you choose which mode to practice, but you can also set the optional piece guide to make suggestions based on different objectives (Tetrises, screen clears, etc.). Super cool stuff!

Finally digging into that copy of SNES Torneko I bought. It's super cute! I love that the NES-style opening. Also wild to see just how much of Shiren is already here. That they make you go all the way back through the dungeon to escape like OG Rogue is nuts, too; Chunsoft knew what they were making!
