Great visit to our longstanding collaboration partners at the ICR discussing how small molecules continue to generate clinical impact. Learned a lot about how Zoran and his team tackle glue degrader discovery to deliver on the promise of expanding the druggable space.
Great day & night discussing how to design impactful drugs 💊 with @hartungingo.bsky.social!
Thanks for a great talk and lively discussion with @agako7.bsky.social, @robvanmontfort.bsky.social, Zoran Rankovich & the ICR Centre for Protein Degradation! Cheers 🍻!

11. The Authority Gap by Mary Ann Sieghart.

Non-fiction this time & a book that everyone should read. At times, left me angry & upset with what some women have gone through. Ends on very practical ways to narrow the gap

Decided to celebrate lab anniversary by reenergising our social media & sharing lab highlights every day in June…and forgot on the very 1st day 🫠
Anyway, it’s our 10th anniversary & we’ve got a new official (see bio) and unofficial logo 🎉; the latter has a story, b/c of course it does… #TEMTiversary

In June, we are having 5-yr external scientific review & the lab celebrates 10-yr anniversary 🎉! Both good things, but prep has me reflecting…a lot. My time at the ICR is almost perfectly bisected by the pandemic & the two halves feel like different life times. Literally The Before Times™️ & After.
