I also follow my town's local Republican club on Facebook. They meet in person weekly and as re very politically active. All the "news" they post is the most crazed conspiracy theory schlock you can imagine. But they are not confined to internet ranting. They're active in the real world & terrifying

Yes they are, sorry did not mean to imply that no one changes their mind. Just that "Trump fans" seem to stay Trump fans. Like I said, I hear of no one budging among the trades folks. They're even union members. The union leadership if firmly anti Trump but rank & file are not.

I think liberals are really failing to consume the media that these cultists consume to understand how fully brainwashed they are.

Tbh all the Trump supporters I know of are still ride or die for him. I have family who are in the trades and they say that the vast majority of workers are still pro Trump even with tons of job losses due to federal cuts for state programs and tariffs raising costs of materials. Cops. Landlords.

Alternative to court reform is fair and simple. Multiple judges need to be arrested and held without bail for corruption. Enforcing the law against elites may seem like an extreme this country is incapable of (bc it's never done it) but it's the most straightforward solution.

It’s much easier to be right wing in this world. You can destroy things. Assault people. Kill people. Wreck economies. Appeal to people base emotions in blaming the other guy for the things you’ve destroyed/assaulted/killed/wrecked. It’s easy.
