As someone who once got locked up for volluntarily going to an emergency psych clinic, yeaaaaah.
Standardized procedures put in place to prevent self-harm, ostensibly to limit liability, seem almost purposefully designed to keep people from seeking help that they need.

The sooner we stop entertaining the, at this point, dangerously absurd notion that "no third term, it's illegal" means fucking anything because THEY ARE FASCIST NAZIS DOING ILLEGAL SHIT AT SUCH N EXPONENTIAL RATE, the sooner we can get to discussions that will actually matter going forward.
